Student Conferences / Progress Reports

Progress reports are going home on November 10th.  The following week I will be holding student conferences.  If you are interested in having a student conference, please fill out the google form below.  Please fill out the form only once.  When you are finished filling in the student’s name, parent’s name, and the time slot you are interested in please hit the submit button at the bottom of the form.  Thanks.
(I had to create this form. It should work properly.  As one person choices a time slot, it should then automatically disappear from the list. If this doesn’t happen, I may need to redo the form and start all over again.  But let’s hope that everything works properly the first time.)

Halloween

Halloween is fast approaching.  Students will be allowed to wear their Halloween costumes, if they wish, on Monday 31st.  However, they can not bring any toy weapons to school or wear a mask.  If students bring any candy for other students, it has to be individually wrapped.  As always, no nut products are allowed at school.

Cross Country Running

Our first extracurricular school activity started today.  It is open to all Grade 4 to 8 students.  If a student is interested in Cross Country running, then they should give it a try.  Mr. Lunardo and Mme Bates are volunteering to run this activity this year.  Students require a permission slip in order to participate. This was handed out to interested students this afternoon.  If students are still interested but were absent or changed their minds, ask one of these teachers for a permission slip.  I believe most practices will occur after school hours.

Student Permissions and Acknowledgements

I would like to thank the parents who have filled out the “Permission and Acknowledgement” forms that were emailed to you through Cash Online.  For those parents who have not completed this task, please do so ASAP.  Our class can not do certain activities without these forms being completed, like going on a community walk.  Check your email for an email that was sent to you through Cash Online to find the required school forms.  Thanks again.
